A third-generation Southern California native, Laurel Wetzork writes full time; fiction, stage plays, and screenplays. She has directed and written an indie feature film and produced and written short films. Also, she’s taught university-level courses in film production, film history, and screenwriting. She received her Master’s degree in writing and BA in film production, both from USC.

She is a member of Sisters in Crime (National and Los Angeles Chapters) and the Dramatists Guild of America (DG). She and her husband have one mellow cat, enjoy reading all sorts of books, bike touring, hiking, cooking and visits with daughter Karina.
